One morning I had my breakfast in Tatay Heron's Karenderia then there was a popular Nescafe commercial in the TV. There was a line that got my attention. "Para saan ka bumabangon? " (for whom do you wake up?)
Whenever I see this commercial there's something in it that made me pause for a bit and thought of something in my life, specifically my inspirations.
Lately, I was able to think about this question
Then I asked myself, "Para saan buh talaga ako bumabangon? "
I never had a concrete response.
The thrill of new adventures and the joy of doing the things I'm doing?
To find new things to wonder about. Or old things that still inspire awe and wonder?
or maybe I got too much to do. school work to finish, graduation to prepare for, studying to do, parties to go to, work to make money, money to spend, etc. There’s lots of it to live.. Usually I can get out of bed without needing much of a reason to do so. But when things are more difficult I’m motivated by the thought of seeing my friends and family, or by the simple fact that I’m alive another day. I don't live for another person, that would just be silly, but the people around me especially those who are important to me makes every morning really worth looking forward to.

Then I realized , I wake up in the morning because I want to find out what can truly make me happy. And these people (friends and family) made me happy :)
A very simple question yet very hard to answer.
